The Missing Piece does not collect, store or transmit any data. Your wardrobe and your photos live only on your device.
None. We do not collect personal information, clothing records, photos, colours, outfits or usage data.
Since we hold no information, we do not use, analyse, share or sell anything. Outfit matching, cost per wear and packing lists are all calculated on your device.
Everything you add stays in local storage on your device. There is no cloud, no server and no backup copy on our side.
The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and shares nothing with outside parties. Gallery photos are read only to pick a colour, and never leave your phone.
Because data never leaves your device, it is protected by your device's own security, such as your passcode and system encryption. We recommend keeping them enabled.
We collect no personal information from anyone, including children under 13, which is consistent with COPPA. The app needs no account or sign-up.
You are fully in control. There are no accounts. Delete individual pieces in the app, or remove everything by uninstalling it.
If the policy changes, we will update the effective date on this page. Our commitment to keeping your data on your device will not change.
